For purposes of the 2012 elections, please be aware that the e-learning videos available on our website were produced to provide information concerning the 2010 elections.  Although the substantive content of these videos remains accurate, please be mindful that any statutory reference may be outdated due to the recodification of the campaign finance laws in the Hawaii Revised Statutes, that any specific reference to a due date or amounts available for the partial public funding program were made in connection with the 2010 elections, and that equalizing funds addressed in the Hilo County Council Comprehensive Public Funding program have been deemed unconstitutional and therefore unavailable for the 2012 elections.  If you have any questions or for more up-to-date information, please call us at (808) 586-0285 or visit the links and guidebooks on our website.
