Step 2 - Find the Committee(s) Name
1. Use the House or Senate Journals (available in the Reading Room)
by the year of the bill. Refer to the index titled History in the back
of the journal and browse to find the bill.
2. Each of the numbers refer to a page on which the bill was
discussed or a decision made. Go to each page reference and note down
any committees to which the bill was referred.

3. Now, knowing which committee(s) heard the bill you can find the date on which testimony was given.
