Abstract:: This dataset contains hydrography lines based on 1983 Digital Line Graphs (DLGs) from the U.S. Geologic Survey (USGS) within the Waianae moku (traditional district) on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It was clipped from a dataset that shows DLG hydrography lines on the eight main Hawaiian Islands.
Purpose:: The purpose of this data set is to show the location of hydrography lines in the Waianae moku on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It is part of a larger effort to provide the Waianae community, located on the western side of Oahu, ecological and cultural spatial data to assist in their land and resource management efforts.

This data set was clipped using ESRI ArcGIS to show only the DLG hydrography lines in the Waianae moku on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It was clipped from the state coverage entitled DLGHYDLN that displays hydrography lines on the eight main Hawaiian Islands.

The original data was digitized into ArcInfo coverage format from 1983 USGS DLGs showing hydrography lines on the eight main Hawaiian Islands. It is unknown when the original coverage was digitized.
