Abstract:: This DRAFT dataset shows the location of historic land claims within the Waianae moku (traditional district) on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It was derived from the State Survey Office, DAGS, Registered map 375, "Map of Waianae, Oahu," by M.D. Monsarrat, ca. 1906. The original scale was 1 inch = 300 feet.
Purpose:: The purpose of this data set is to display the location of historic land claims within the Waianae moku on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It is part of a larger effort to provide the Waianae community, located on the western side of Oahu, ecological and cultural spatial data to assist in their land and resource management efforts.
Supplemental_Information:: This DRAFT map was derived from the State Survey Office, DAGS, Registered map 375, "Map of Waianae, Oahu," by M.D. Monsarrat, ca. 1906. The original scale was 1 inch = 300 feet.
