Description:

Abstract:: This dataset shows the 2001 Hawaii State House of Representative District Boundaries for the Hawaiian Island of Oahu as adopted by the State of Hawaii Reapportionment Commission in November, 2001. It was clipped from a larger dataset that includes the 1991 House of Representativ Boundaries for the eight main Hawaiian Islands.
Purpose:: The purpose of this data set is to display the 2001 Hawaii State House of Representative District Boundaries for the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It is part of a larger effort to provide the Waianae community, located on the western side of Oahu, ecological and cultural spatial data to assist in their land and resource management efforts.

This data set was clipped using ESRI ArcGIS to show only the 2001 Hawaii State House of Representative District Boundaries for the Island of Oahu. It was clipped from the state coverage entitled House01 that shows 2001 State House boundaries for the eight main Hawaiian Islands.

The original data layer was primarily derived from 1:100,000 Tiger Line Files by the State of Hawaii, Office of Elections.
