Abstract:: This dataset shows Neighborhood Board Districts for the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It was copied from the State GIS database from a data layer originally provided by the City and County of Honolulu.
Purpose:: The purpose of this data set is to show the Neighborhood Board District Boundaries for the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It is part of a larger effort to provide the Waianae community, located on the western side of Oahu, ecological and cultural spatial data to assist in their land and resource management efforts.

This data set was copied from the state GIS database using ESRI ArcGIS to show the Neighborhood Board Districts for the Island of Oahu.

The original dataset was created as follows by the City and County of Honolulu: Neighborhood board boundaries and subdistricts were originally digitized. This layer was updated using the parcel layer as a reference, actually the boundary lines were made to coincide with parcel boundaries where they passed through populated areas.
