Abstract:

This dataset shows Special Management Areas within the Waianae moku (traditional district) on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It was clipped from a larger dataset that shows Special Management Areas for the eight main Hawaiian Islands.

Purpose:

The purpose of this data set is to display the Special Management Areas within the Waianae moku on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. It is part of a larger effort to provide the Waianae community, located on the western side of Oahu, ecological and cultural spatial data to assist in their land and resource management efforts.
