		conservation district sub-zones, for the 8 main 
		hawaiian islands, as of December, 1995.
		
Source:		State Land Use Commission 1:24,000 mylar maps.		

History:	Initially digitized in Arc/Info versions 4, 5, and 6 using 
		ArcEdit by the Office of State Planning (OSP) from State 
		Land Use Commission's (LUC) 1:24,000 mylar maps.  Updates 
		for this version, including conservation district subzones, 
		were digitized and coded by a consultant (GDSI) under 
		contract to the Department of Land and Natural Resources 
		(DLNR), using LUC and DLNR subzone maps.  In cases of dis-
		crepancy between LUC and DLNR maps, LUC maps took precedence.
