What is Old Hawaiian Datum (OHD)? "Old Hawaiian Datum" is an independent datum that was derived from the "North American Datum 1927" (NAD27). The C&C of Honolulu GIS currently uses "Old Hawaiian Datum" (OHD).

NAD83 is the "North American Datum 1983". NAD83 is an improvement in accuracy over "Old Hawaiian Datum". This is the datum that the Statewide GIS Program currently uses.
