About Us
We provide economic forecasts that contribute to long-term statewide planning.
READ collects, compiles, interprets and posts data and statistics on all aspects of business activity, the economy and demographic characteristics of the State.
READ also conducts research reports on the economy and emerging industries of the state.
For beginning users and casual researchers, start with Hawaii Facts & Figures, the Hawaii State Data Book, or the extensive Hawaii Census Data section.
Tourism (Visitor Industry) statistics are in a separate category.
Economic trends, statistics and insights into Hawaii’s economy through various publications are also available.
For advanced researchers, READ has also developed a statewide statistical reporting system known as the Data Warehouse.
