The Green Government Challenge is an opportunity for government agencies to participate in working toward smart energy and resource efficient operations while benefitting from lower operational and utility costs.
Enrolling for the Hawaii Green Government Challenge is simple. The instructions provided in the Green Government Challenge Brochure are as follows:
1. Fill out the Preliminary Enrollment Form. Submit electronically to jonathan.r.chin@dbedt.hawaii.gov.
2. Once approved, fill out the Green Government Challenge Checklist. Submit electronically.
3. An in-person Site Check will be scheduled to verify your responses on the Checklist.
4. After all three steps have been completed, applicants will be eligible for recognition. Maintaining this status is also important. Agencies can re-enroll once a year.
