2006 AILA Annual Conference
2006 AILA Annual Conference –San Antonio, Texas
June 21 -24, 2006
The 2006 AILA Annual Conference, the largest gathering of immigration law professionals in the US, provided cutting-edge information in today’s fast-paced and challenging immigration climate.
The annual conferences bring together thousands of immigration law practitioners, leading immigration law experts, government officials, and other legal professionals from around the United States – and the world. The Immigrant Investor Program was not the only program marketed through the AILA conference. All Hawaii programs were marketed, including: High Tech, Foreign Trade Zones, Education and Training, Tourism Development Expertise, Enterprise Zones, and other incentive programs.
Highlights
- With more than 3,000 attendees in 2006, exhibiting at the conference was the best way to reach this vital market. We expanded Hawaii business opportunities by meeting potential clients’ attorneys and potential customers face-to-face.
- We met key Citizenship and Immigration Services officials and discussed issues to work more effectively with agency.
- The EB-5 (Immigrant Investor Visa) committee meeting was a tremendous opportunity to market the Hawaii Regional Center. The attendance exceeded 100, with people sitting on the floor. We used this opportunity to update all attendees on the status of the program and Hawaii’s successes.
