The Business Action Center is a branch of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs' Business Registration Division. In line with the Business Registration Division's mission to process and maintain the business registry for the State of Hawaii, the BAC provides assistance with obtaining and completing the required applications to register a business entity conducting business activities in the State. In addition, we help business owners obtain general excise tax and other tax licenses from the Department of Taxation and register as an employer with the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.
