How do I register a Hawaii business and do you have forms available?

To register a Hawaii business, you must file formation documents like the Articles of Incorporation (for a corporation) (Form DC-1) or Articles of Organization (for an LLC) (Form LLC-1). Send the appropriate fee to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Business Registration Division with the application. If the business already exists and is registered in another state or country, then you must file an application for the foreign entity and send the appropriate fee along with the application. For a corporation, that would be an application for a Certificate of Authority for a Foreign Corporation (Form FC-1) and for an LLC, it would be an application for a Certificate of Authority for a Foreign LLC (Form FLLC-1).
