How soon must a cable company correct or repair faulty cable facilities?
In cases where there are minor systems faults interrupting or lessening cable signals to less than 50 subscribers, the cable company is required to correct the situation within eight hours of the outage report.
In cases where there are major systems faults affecting more than 50 subscribers, the cable company is obligated to begin repairs to faulty cable facilities immediately after such faults are reported to it.
