Renewal

Biennial June 30 every even numbered year

Online renewals begin on May 7, 2012 10 a.m. (HST) through midnight (HST) June 30, 2012. Late renewals must be submitted by mail or in person.

Click here to renew your Psychologist (PSY) and Psychologist, Industrial (PSYI) license online.

Psychology licensees will be mailed a postcard renewal notice only.  Postcard notice will be mailed out Friday, May 4, 2012.

Failure to timely renew by the renewal date will result in the suspension of the license. After the renewal date, the suspended license may be reinstated within 1 year and subject to meeting reinstatement requirements. Failure to reinstate a suspended license within 1 year after the renewal date will result in the termination of the license and the person must apply as a new applicant and meet current licensing requirements.

Pursuant to Section 436B-14.5, HRS, any license held by a member of the armed forces, National Guard, or a reserve component that expires, is forfeited, or deemed delinquent while the member is on active duty and deployed during a state or national crisis shall be restored if certain restoration requirements are met.  Click here to access the "Military Renewal and Restoration Information Sheet".
