Physician

  • Prior to application for licensure, applicant must pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
    • To apply, call the Federation of State Medical Boards at (817) 868-4041 or go to www.fsmb.org to register online.  The exam is offered throughout the year on Oahu.

Osteopath

  • Prior to application for licensure, applicants must pass the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) examination or the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
    • NBOME: To apply, call NBOME at (773) 714-0622 or go to www.nbome.org to register online.  The exam is not offered in Hawaii.
    • USMLE: To apply, call the Federation of State Medical Boards at (817) 868-4041 or go to www.fsmb.org to register online.  The exam is offered throughout the year on Oahu.

Podiatrist

  • In addition to submitting an application for licensure, applicants must call (808) 586-3000 for exam materials to register directly with the testing agency.
  • The exam is offered in Honolulu on:
    • June 2, 2010 and
    • December 1, 2010

Physician Assistant

  • Prior to application for licensure, applicants must pass the required exam.
    • To apply call the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants at (678) 417-8100 or go to www.nccpa.net to register online.

EMT - B

  • Written exam:  applicants must pass the NREMT EMT-B exam.
    • To apply, call (614) 888-4484 or go to www.nremt.org to register online.  The exam is offered throughout the year on Oahu, Maui, and Hilo.

EMT - I

  • Writtten exam:  applicants must pass the NREMT EMT-I exam.
    • To apply, call (614) 888-4484 or go to www.nremt.org to register online.  The exam is offered throughout the year on Oahu, Maui, and Hilo.
  • Practical exam is offered on Oahu on: dates to be determined

EMT - P

  • Written exam:  applicants must pass the NREMT EMT-P exam.
    • To apply, call (614) 888-4484 or go to www.nremt.org to register online.  The exam is offered throughout the year on Oahu, Maui, and Hilo.
  • Practical exam is offered on Oahu on: dates to be determined
