• Application deadline is two weeks prior to the test date.

Examination Date

Automobile and Truck Mechanic:

• Prior to submitting a license application, applicant must pass required ASE exam.  Administration of the exam is handled by ASE via electronic testing.  For more information, visit www.ASE.com or call ASE at 1-800-525-6929.

Motorcycle Mechanic:

• The State Motorcycle Repair Certification Examination is administered statewide at least twice a year in the Spring and Fall and is usually offered during the months of May and December.  Further information will be made available.  Please check back periodically.
