NAVLE (North American Veterinary Licensing Examination)
In Hawaii, electronic testing is provided on Oahu only, and only during two testing window periods. Applications must be approved by the Board of Veterinary Examiners before taking the exam. NAVLE applications must be received by the exam provider (National Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners - NBVME) no later than 92 days prior to the start of a testing window period. The two testing windows for 2009 are:
April 13 - April 25, 2009 (file by December 29, 2009)

November 2009 - To be Announced
State Exam
25th of each month to apply to take the exam the following month.

The State Exam is administered on the third Friday of each month. If this falls on a holiday, the exam is given on the Thursday before the holiday.
Neighbor island administration of the State Exam is no longer available.
