RenewalBiennial June 30 every even numbered year Late renewals will no longer be accepted. Failure to timely renew by the renewal date will result in the forfeiture of the license and will require licensees to reapply as a new applicant, meet all current requirements, and submit all documents and fees again. Motor vehicle broker (CB) licenses ONLY, will not be able to reapply for another CB license. Due to changes in the law, the board is no longer authorized to approve and issue new motor vehicle broker licenses. Pursuant to Section 436B-14.5, HRS, any license held by a member of the armed forces, National Guard, or a reserve component that expires, is forfeited, or deemed delinquent while the member is on active duty and deployed during a state or national crisis shall be restored if certain restoration requirements are met.
