The Preschool by 4 campaign, initiated by the Department of Human Services, intended to raise the public’s awareness to consider sending children to preschool by the age of 4 years old. Having children attend preschool prior to entering kindergarten exposes them to different experiences and may positively affect their learning later in life. This also ties in with our State’s School Readiness efforts to have children prepared when they begin school.
