Child Care Licensing
The goal of the Department of Human Services’ Child Care Licensing Program is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of children enrolled in licensed facilities by developing and enforcing minimum standards for licensed facilities. Licensing staff monitors compliance with the law and the administrative rules and provides consultation and technical assistance to child care providers.
