Programs
Women’s Health Month was initiated in 1994 by the HSCSW. The purpose of Women’s Health Month is to maximize public awareness of women’s health issues, empower women to be their own health advocates, reduce health care disparities, and promote the physical and emotional well-being of women in Hawaii.
A collaborative grassroots program designed to help close the wage gap between women and men at work. Working groups will come together to strategize actions to combat pay inequity.
A campaign training workshop for women considering seeking public office, running for higher office, or working on a campaign. Goal is to increase women’s involvement in the political process.
The goal of the collection is to collect the women’s stories in their own voices. The collection will enable women to speak to Hawaii’s future, sharing their wisdom and knowledge.
Work with local and international groups fighting domestic violence and sex assault to form a comprehensive response to issues of violence against women through cross-disciplinary training programs.
