ANIMAL CONTROL PERMITS AVAILABLE FOR UNGULATES AT KAOHE GMA, HAWAII ISLAND
The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) today announced the availability of muzzleloader animal control permits for feral goats and feral sheep at Kaohe Game Management Area, pursuant to Title 13, Chapter 123 (13-123-9).

Public Hearing Notice Administrative Rules
DLNR/DOFAW will conduct state-wide public hearings on proposed amendments to Hawaii Administrative Rules, Title 13, Subtitle 5, Part 2, Chapter 124, Indigenous Wildlife, Endangered and Threatened Wildlife, and Introduced Wild Birds. Please attached hearing notice for details on public hearing dates, times, and locations, and instructions for submitting testimony. The hearing notice will run in statewide newspapers on 2/17/13. Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) Planner: Oahu
The DLNR was recently awarded a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to hire a CREP Planner to assist in conservation planning for projects and providing outreach and technical assistance to new and existing landowners on Oahu servicing Honolulu, Kauai and Maui Counties.
