DOFAW, DLNR: $450,000 for the acquisition of 65.56 acres in Hamakua, Kailua, island of O‘ahu, for conservation of natural habitat, watershed, scenic, and open space values;

State Parks Division, DLNR: $7,000 for the acquisition of 7 acres in North Kohala, island of Hawai‘i, for the preservation of cultural, historic, and scenic values;

State Parks Division, DLNR: $1,250,000 for the acquisition of 17.05 acres in Lapakahi, Kohala, island of Hawai‘i, for the protection of coastal, cultural, and natural values;

Kaua‘i Public Land Trust: $700,000 for the acquisition of 20.532 acres fronting
Kahili Beach, North Shore, Kaua‘i, for the protection of its watershed, coastal,
and habitat values.

Maui Coastal Land Trust: $994,724 for the acquisition of 128 acres in Nu‘u
Makai, southeast shore, Maui, for the protection of coastal, wetland, habitat,
historical, and cultural values.

Ke `Aupuni Lokahi, Inc. (Moloka‘i Enterprise Community): $767,976 for the
acquisition of 196.4 acres to be held by Moloka‘i Land Trust, in Kawaikapu,
Mana‘e, Moloka‘i, for the protection of watershed, cultural, and scenic values.

Hilo, on the Big Island, for the conservation of native forest and habitat.

National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG): $1,500,000 for the acquisition of
169.87 acres in Honomā‘ele, Hana, on Maui, for the conservation of native hala forest
and cultural resources.

Cave Conservancy of Hawai‘i: $154,000 for the acquisition of 9 acres in Kula Kai
View Estates, on the Big Island, for the conservation of cave tunnels and cultural
resources.

Kona Historical Society: $301,000 for the acquisition of the 5.536-acre Uchida
Farm, in Kealakekua, on the Big Island, for the preservation of agricultural and historical
resources.

Hawai‘i County: $1,214,750 for the acquisition of 234.293 in Ka‘u, near Kawa‘a Bay,
on the Big Island, for the preservation of natural and cultural resources.

Agribusiness Development Corporation (ADC), Department of Agriculture:
$1,100,000, for the acquisition of an agricultural easement on 108.217 acres of land in
Kunia, on O‘ahu, from the Hawai‘i Agricultural Research Center (HARC), for the
perpetual preservation of prime agricultural land.

Fiscal Year 2006 - Award

Maui Coastal Land Trust: $1,100,000 for the acquisition of a conservation easement over 168 acres, Molokai's south-eastern shore, for the perpetual preservation of prime ranch and agricultural lands.
