Land uses require an Environmental Assessment (EA) unless they are declared "exempt".

Please contact OCCL if you feel your project will have minimal or no significant effect on the environment and might be declared exempt.

OCCL requires twenty copies of the CDUA, Draft EA, and any supporting documents.

 

Conservation District Use Permits (CDUP's) are issued at the discretion of either the Chair or  the Board of Land and Natural Resources (BLNR).  A CDUA, along with OCCL staff's recommendation on the application, will be presented to the chair or the Board within 180 days of the CDUA's acceptance for processing.
