Kailua Beach Management Plan
The DLNR in conjunction with the University of Hawaii Sea Grant College Program is developing a beach management plan for Kailua beach. The plan is expected to be completed by March, 2010 and will include recommendations for land use controls for developement as well as recommendations for best management practices for the beach and dune in Kailua.
