Project Summary:    MKFRP is actively restoring the high-elevation mamane-naio dry forest of Mauna Kea, expanding bird habitat for the critically endangered Palila.  Volunteers are vital to to the effort through seed collection, propagation, out planting, and seedling maintenance.  MKFRP offers various volunteer opportunities from day trips, to weekend or even week-long camping trips.
