The goal of the Conservation Section of the Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG) Environmental Office is to protect and enhance natural and cultural resources on HIARNG sites and facilities. These resources include:

  • Endangered species
  • Native plants
  • Native ecosystems
  • Streams
  • Wetlands
  • Soils
  • Cultural landscapes
  • Archaeological sites and features
  • Historic sites and buildings
