HAWAII ARMY NATIONAL GUARD SOLDIER DIES ON KAUAI

Hanapepe, HI- A Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG) Soldier died this afternoon while on duty at a vehicle maintenance shop on Kauai.

HAWAII ARMY NATIONAL GUARD SOLDIER DIES ON KAUAI

 

 

Hanapepe, HI- A Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG) Soldier died this afternoon while on duty at a vehicle maintenance shop on Kauai. The full-time Federal Technician was found unresponsive by another Soldier and then transported to Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead around 1:00 p.m.

Cause of death is unknown at this time. Although the family has been notified, the HIARNG will not release the name of the Soldier until the appropriate time to protect the family’s privacy. The HIARNG will assign a Casualty Assistance Officer to support the family during this difficult time.
