Hawaii Army National Guard Soldiers reenlist at UH baseball game

WHEN:                   Sunday, Feb. 17, 12:45 p.m.

WHAT:                    Sixteen Soldiers reenlist prior to first pitch of UH Baseball game

WHO:                     Hawaii Army National Guard

WHERE:                 Les Murakami Stadium, University of Hawaii at Manoa

 

Sixteen Hawaii Army National Guard Soldiers will extend their commitment to serve our state and country during a re-enlistment ceremony to be held Feb. 17 at 12:45 p.m., prior to the first pitch of the University of Hawaii Baseball game.

Re-enlistments are a major event in a Soldier’s life and are indicative of their commitment to defend their state and country.  This Extend to Defend ceremony will consist of a formation of troops, color guard and the administering of the oath of re-enlistment.

Included in this group are Veterans who have deployed to Iraq and/or Afghanistan.The following Hawaii Army National Guard Soldiers will be participating in the ceremony:
