Valet Parking Promotion at Honolulu International Airport

March 9, 2009 -- The state Department of Transportation (DOT) is pleased to announce it has begun offering a special promotional discount for valet parking at Honolulu International Airport (HNL). From now through the end of April, travelers can save $5.00 per day on valet parking ($15.00 per day), which is available on the fourth floor of the inter-island parking structure. The regular price is $20.00 a day.

New Economy Lot To Open And Grace Period For Parking Implemented As Statewide Parking Rates Increase

July 31, 2009 -- The state Department of Transportation (DOT) is advising air travelers of new parking rates at Hawaii airports throughout the state. This will be the first parking rate increase at Hawaii airports since 1993 and it aims to offset the capital costs of parking improvements under the Airports Modernization Plan.

Giant Mosaic Mural To Commemorate Hawaii's 50th Anniversay of Statehood Unveiled at Honolulu International Airport

August 7, 2009 -- As part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Hawai‘i’s statehood, a giant mosaic mural featuring artwork by students nationwide was unveiled today at the Honolulu International Airport. Made up of over 8,000 unique images, the mural was created as a lasting tribute to our state. Lt. Governor James R. “Duke” Aiona, Jr. and student artists unveiled the mural at a ceremony.
