For the past two years, the DOTA have been busy putting together a website to preserve, share and showcase "the illustrious history of aviation in Hawaii and the impact that Hawaii aviation had in stimulating the growth of air travel in the United States."

The DOTA is proud to announce that the site is out of beta and is now officially open to the public.

The site currently boasts a collection of over 6000 historical photos capturing moments back to the first decade of the 20th century... and that collection continues to grow.

In addition to the photos we also have articles and and on-line publications of the books Gateway to the Pacific and the now out-of-print book Above the Pacific by the late William J. Horvat.
