Honolulu Harbor to Receive $24.5 Million in Federal Stimulus Funds

The state Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Harbors Division will be receiving $24.5 million in federal stimulus funds through the TIGER (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery) Discretionary Grant Program, which is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The DOT applied for this funding to reconstruct Pier 29 at Honolulu Harbor. For details, click on the above title.
