DUPLICATION & PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS
- The “Application for Absentee Voter Ballot” is the form prescribed and approved by the Chief Election Officer and Clerk, under Hawaii Administrative Rules §2-53-4.
- For printing and duplication purposes, follow the guidelines under Hawaii Administrative Rules §2-53-4.1:
- Application must be 8.5" x 11";
- Must be printed on white 20 weight bond paper or heavier (70lb. text white wove offset is preferred);
- May not contain a glossy finish;
- May not be printed on newsprint;
- Must be a one to one (1:1) facsimile of the original form;
- May not be included in, attached to, or affixed to, any campaign or informational literature unrelated to voter registration; and
- Must be duplicated in its entirety, including all instruction
PHOTOCOPYING
- Absentee voter ballot applications may be photo-copied. If photo-copied, the application form must be photo-copied in its entirety. A facsimile of the form may be submitted to the clerk, provided that the information supplied by the applicant and the applicant's signature shall be original.
- Organizations interested in duplicating the Application for Absentee Voter Ballot must obtain approval from the Office of Elections or City/County Clerk prior to distribution.
