The Hawaii State Ethics Commission Turns 40!

On January 1, 2008, the Hawaii State Ethics Commission
marked its 40th Anniversary. The Commission was established forty years ago, on January 1, 1968. It was the first ethics commission established at the state level of government in the United States. On January 1, 2008, the Hawaii State Senate issued a resolution commending and congratulating the Hawaii State Ethics Commission on the occasion of its 40th Anniversary.
