Aloha,

Recently, our Administration celebrated our 1,000th day in office.

Through the hard work and dedication of the state’s thousands of employees, our Administration has been able to implement our vision for a better Hawai`i.

As a team, we have created opportunities for progress and blazed new trails for the future of our state.  The tens of thousands of state employees who have helped us get here are what we call our “shining stars.”

These are the men and women who work day in and day out to repair our schools, process Medicaid payments, protect our natural resources, upgrade our highways, develop affordable housing, and protect consumers.

Mahalo to all our state employees and volunteers who labor each day to make Hawai`i a better place to live, work and play.

To get a 1,000th Day booklet, call this station or visit our website at www.hawaii.gov/gov.

Mahalo.  This is Governor Linda Lingle.
