Today, Governor Lingle held a news conference to announce additional strategic efforts to diversify Hawai`i's tourism market, enhance the Hawai`i Clean Energy Initiative and strengthen the state's international partnerships in order to create a stronger future for Hawai`i in the global economy.

Governor Lingle also delivered remarks at Hawaiian Airlines' 80th anniversary celebration. Hawai`i's largest airline since its founding in 1929, Hawaiian Airlines today serves 20 domestic and international destinations in the Pacific region.
