HB1172, SB990: RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI`I
Reinstates the ability of the Board of Regents of the University of Hawai`i to develop internal policies and procedures for the procurement of goods and services rather than use of the State procurement code.

HB1173, SB991: RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI`I
Allows the University of Hawai`i to conduct capital improvement projects by increasing the Board of Regents' revenue bond authority to a total of $250 million and extending the expiration date for the revenue bond authority provided in 2007.

HB1174, SB992: RELATING TO THE UNIVERSTIY OF HAWAI`I
Authorizes the University of Hawai`i to adopt rules and assess fines to regulate commercial and public activity on lands it leases and controls atop Mauna Kea in order to protect important cultural and natural resources.
