Business Registration Documents Available Online

As part of the Lingle-Aiona Administration's efforts to provide individuals businesses with innovative and efficient online government services, the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs' (DCCA) Business Registration Division has made more than 700,000 business registration documents available for immediate online purchase from the DCCA's Business Registration webpage.

Admiral Walsh Assumes Command of Pacific Fleet

Governor Lingle attended a change of command ceremony during which Admiral Patrick Walsh assumed command of U.S. Pacific Fleet from Admiral Robert Willard. "His experience in Washington, D.C., as the Vice Chief of Naval Operations, will serve Pacific Fleet well in the role that we play to help organize, train and equip the forces that we employ in the Pacific Fleet," Admiral Willard said.

September is Senior Fall Prevention Awareness Month

The Department of Health's Injury Prevention Program is partnering with the Hawai`i Fall Prevention Consortium to sponsor Senior Fall Prevention Awareness Month during September. "Fall prevention is a major concern for the safety and well-being of our kupuna, the fastest growing segment of our population," said Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Department of Health.
