Recognizing the tireless dedication of state employees, Governor Lingle and Lt. Governor Aiona honored Aaron Ueno, acting Hawai`i district health officer of the Department of Health as State Manager of the Year and Dexter Cho, pest control technician at the Department of Agriculture as State Employee of the Year and the Department of Transportation's Airports Division Photovoltaic Engineering Team as the State Team of the Year.
