“TALK STORY WITH YOUR ADMINISTRATION”

HONOLULU – During the month of October, the public can get an in-depth update on the Lingle Administration’s efforts to address illicit drug use in Hawai`i.  Lt. Governor James R. “Duke” Aiona Jr. will be this month’s guest on “Talk Story with Your Administration,” a 30-minute community television show designed to keep Hawai`i residents informed about their state government.  The Lt. Governor will discuss the recent Hawai`i Drug Control Strategy Summit, including the recommendations and outcomes from the summit.

The show airs Wednesday: October 8, 15, 22 and 29, 6:30 – 7:00 p.m., `Olelo Community Television, VIEWS, Oceanic Channel 54. 

Hosted by Angela Perez Baraquio, Miss America 2001, the “Talk Story with Your Administration” series gives an up-close and personal view of Governor Linda Lingle’s Administration.  The goal of the program is to inform the public of the administration’s duties, charges and challenges, and to familiarize viewers with the individual cabinet members who are working to improve state government.
