GOVERNOR’S MAUI ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO MEET ON DEC. 21ST

WAILUKU – The Governor’s Maui Advisory Committee will meet at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at the Cameron Center, Auditorium, 95 Mahalani Street, Wailuku.  The public is invited to attend. 

Testimonies will be received on the Hana Community Health Center, Hana Dialysis, Superferry, and 2005 Governor’s Advisory Committee priority listing.

Governor Linda Lingle created advisory committees to give the Neighbor Islands a stronger voice in state government. The Maui Advisory Committee holds monthly public meetings to seek community input and advise the Governor of important issues, budget priorities, and recommendations for state boards and commissions.

The members of the Governor’s Maui Advisory Committee are Diane Ho, Ezekiela Kalua, Carl Lindquist, John Henry, Jo-Ann Ridao, Grelyn Rosario, Madge Schaefer, Jan Shishido, and Kalei Sombelon.
