Statement From Governor Abercrombie Following HECO Settlement
HONOLULU – Following this afternoon’s
settlement between the Hawaiian Electric Company and the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1260, Governor Neil Abercrombie
released the following statement:
“I appreciate the efforts by the two
sides to reach an agreement and want to encourage a speedy ratification
vote by the union members.”
