Public Schedule for the Week of April 27-May 2, 2009

April 29, Governor Lingle and the Better Business Bureau of Hawai`i will recognize Hawai`i businesses and non-profit organizations for their ethical standards in business practices, integrity in business services and commitment to the community.

April 30, Governor Lingle will honor the men and women who serve our state and our nation at the opening ceremony of the 24th Annual Military Appreciation Month. 

May 2, The Governor will cheer on middle and high school students on 42 teams from across the state as they compete in the Hawai`i Botball Regional Tournament, the largest regional program in the nation.  This hands-on educational experience in robotics is designed to engage students in learning practical applications of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
