Public Schedule for the Week of April 6-11, 2009

April 6, Governor Lingle will deliver the keynote address at the Hawai`i Island Chamber of Commerce meeting and 2009 Small Business Administration's Awards ceremony.  The Governor will discuss collaborative efforts to stimulate the economy and preserve and create jobs, including initiatives to support Hawai`i's small businesses at the Hilo Yacht Club.

April 7, The Governor will meet with Kevin Sheehan, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line.

April 8, Governor Lingle will meet with the Honorable Manny Mori, President of the Federated States of Micronesia.

April 8, Governor Lingle will participate in a meeting that focuses on developing renewable energy solutions for island nations, states and territories.

April 8, Governor Lingle and Carl Caliboso, chair of the Public Utilities Commission, will announce a new administrator for the Hawai`i Energy Efficiency Program.

April 9, Governor Lingle, Lt. Governor Aiona and members of the cabinet will join Hawai`i's mayors, government officials, and leaders from the business, military, non-profit and faith-based communities at the Annual Hawai`i Prayer Breakfast. 

April 9, Governor Lingle will meet with the Honorable Togiola Tulafono, Governor of American Samoa. 

April 11, Governor Lingle will attend the grand opening of the Hana Communal Home for Dialysis.  The new communal home dialysis service will help patients in Hana avoid having to travel to Wailuku for dialysis treatment.
