February 16, HOLIDAY – PRESIDENTS DAY

February 17, As part of the state's $2.3 billion Airports Modernization Plan, Governor Lingle, Director of Transportation Brennon Morioka and Deputy Director – Airports Brian Sekiguchi will dedicate a new 1,800-stall parking structure at the Honolulu International Airport.

February 17, Governor Lingle will announce the winner of the Real World Design Challenge, a national program to provide high school students the opportunity to work on real world engineering challenges that focus on aeronautics and energy usage.

February 19–27, Governor Lingle will participate in the annual winter meeting of the National Governors Association in Washington, D.C.  The meeting will include a session with President Obama, members of his Cabinet, congressional members, academic leaders, business executives and other experts for discussions on a host of issues and challenges facing states.
