Public Schedule for the Week of January 26-31, 2009

January 26, Members of Governor Lingle's Cabinet will discuss their department's goals for the 2009 legislative session during a live GovTube webcast from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. HST on the Governor's website.

January 26, Governor Lingle will deliver her seventh State of the State Address to the people of Hawai`i.  The Governor will outline her Administration’s priorities for the legislative session and provide details on collaborative initiatives to improve the quality of life for Hawai`i residents.  Watch it live on the Governor's website at 10:00 a.m. HST.

January 26, Governor Lingle will attend the Australia Day celebration hosted by Australian Consul General David Binns.

January 27, Continuing the Lingle-Aiona Administration's commitment to fulfill the state's obligation to provide affordable housing opportunities for native Hawaiians and to build communities to benefit the entire state, Governor Lingle, Hawaiian Homes Commission Chair Micah Kane and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands will conduct the blessing for Kānehili Increment 1A subdivision in East Kapolei, O`ahu.

January 30, Governor Lingle will deliver the keynote address at the Maui Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. 

January 31, Governor Lingle will attend "A Celebration of Life" Luau to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kaua`i Hospice.
