March 12, Governor Lingle will visit with students from Halau Lokahi Public Charter School.
March 13, Governor Lingle will host a luncheon to celebrate the 15th annual Honolulu Festival, which takes place March 13-15. This year's festival, under the theme of "Heart of the Pacific, Creating our Future," will feature 112 groups from Japan, Australia, Tahiti, the Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, Hawai`i and the U.S. mainland that will share cultural dance and music performances and traditional art demonstrations.
March 13, The Governor will present a quilt made by members of the Home of the Brave Quilt Project to the family of Sgt. Deyson Cariaga, the first Hawai`i Army National Guard member to be killed in the line of duty since the Vietnam War.
