September 29, Governor Lingle will attend a reception to welcome Japan's new Consul General Yoshihiko Kamo to Hawai`i.

September 30, The Governor will meet privately with Adm. Patrick M. Walsh, the new commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

September 30, Governor Lingle will participate in an informal roundtable discussion with students (grades 11 and 12) who are interested in learning about leadership. 

October 1, Governor Lingle will attend the grand opening of the new St. Regis Princeville Resort on the north shore of Kaua`i.

October 2, Governor Lingle will be joined by firefighters in declaring Fire Prevention Week in Hawai‘i.

October 3, Governor Lingle will deliver remarks to the members of the Hawai`i Automobile Dealers Association as the organization marks its 50th anniversary.
